We are pleased to provide you with a Media Measurement report with audience statistics on Top TV Stations and Top Radio Stations for Quarter 3 2017 (July - September) in Rwanda, where the GeoPoll Media Measurement service is currently available .
Radio
GeoPoll has analyzed the top 10 radio stations at the national level in Rwanda for Q3 2017, using the daily data collected through its Media Measurement Service. Both ratings and share for the top stations in Rwanda are examined.
The chart below shows the average ratings for the top 10 stations in Rwanda throughout the day.
Radio Listeners in Q3, 2017 have more affinity to Radio Rwanda throughout the day with its highest spot being between 8-10PM with an average of 13.3. There is a stiff competition for the second position in ratings between Kiss FM and KT Radio.
GeoPoll also took into account the average share for Q3 2017:
There is huge difference of 27% in share from Radio Rwanda which is the lead and Kiss FM which is the second having a share of 8%. KT Radio and Radio 10 achieve the 3rd and 4th position with a share of 8% and 5% respectively.
Television
GeoPoll has analyzed the top 10 TV stations at the national level in Rwanda for Q3 2017 using the daily data collected through its Media Measurement Service. Both ratings and share for the top stations in Rwanda are examined.
The below chart shows the average ratings for the top 10 stations in Rwanda during peak hours which is from 7PM to 10 PM.
Rwanda TV has the most affinity from TV viewers in Q3, 2017 during peak hours. Its highest point is being spotted 8PM with an average of 5.3. TV1 consistently achieves the 2nd position during peak hours with its highest point being between 8.30PM to 9PM with an average of 1.9.
GeoPoll also examined average share across the entire day during Q3, 2017.
Rwanda TV achieves the highest share of 36% followed by TV1 and TV10 with 11% and 7% shares respectively.
