GeoPoll is currently the only daily and independent media measurement service in this country. **Radio** Using the daily data collected through GeoPoll's [Media Measurement Service](http://research.geopoll.com/media-measurement), GeoPoll has analyzed the top Radio stations at the national level in Ethiopia for Q1 2017. We examined both ratings and share for the top stations in Ethiopia. DEBUB FM consistently remains the third station in rating. There is a stiff competition also amongst all other stations throughout the peak hours. GeoPoll also examined average share for Q1 2017: FBC takes the lead in share with an average of 22.3% followed by EBC FM with a share of 15.1%. DEBUB takes the third position in share with an average of 12.2%. There is a stiff competition amongst the other radio stations at a national level. ![Etho Radio audience share Q1 2017.gif](https://knowledge.geopoll.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Etho%20Radio%20audience%20share%20Q1%202017.gif?width=568&height=374&name=Etho%20Radio%20audience%20share%20Q1%202017.gif) The high share of 12.3% for *other* stations not within the top 10 shows the large number of radio stations in Kenya, which broadcast across the country at a regional level. **Television** Using the daily data collected through GeoPoll's [Media Measurement Service](http://research.geopoll.com/media-measurement), GeoPoll has analyzed the top TV stations in Ethiopia for Q1 2017. We examined both ratings and share for the top stations in Ethiopia. There is stiff competition amongst EBS and EBC1. EBS has its highest ratings at 9.30PM with 5.75 whereas EBC1 has its highest rating at 8.PM with 7.59. The rest of the stations compete throughout the peak hours. GeoPoll also examined average share across the entire day during Q1 2017.
