GeoPoll data on gambling
GeoPoll has conducted multiple studies on gambling in Kenya dating from 2017 to the present and including two surveys conducted immediately before and after the gambling regulation changes that occurred in July 2019. This data can be used for custom reports, or combined with a new custom survey to provide you with a tailored look into the gambling industry in Kenya, prevalence of betting among target audiences, and more. Pre-collected data includes:
- Prevalence of betting broken down by age, gender, location, income, mobile ownership
- Popular types of betting including football betting, lotteries, and other types
- Betting during the World Cup 2018 and AFCON 2019 for Kenya and other countries
- Awareness of the new gambling regulations before and after they were implemented
- Source of funds used for betting, spend on betting and winnings on betting
