New data on electricity and water access, food security and community needs

In order to support the humanitarian response following Cyclone Idai in Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, we are currently running a remote, SMS-based survey to the regions hardest hit in Mozambique to gather on-the-ground data on infrastructure damages, food security, and the aid needed most by communities. While much of the region remains without power, every person we reach via mobile represents valuable feedback for the humanitarian community as they assess the situation and work to deliver aid to those who need it.

Fill out the form on this page and we will email you updated data as soon as it is released, or contact us here for additional questions on GeoPoll's remote data collection capabilities in Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.

Other organizations working to help those affected by Cyclone Idai include Save the ChildrenInternational Rescue Committee, OXFAM, UNICEF, and Doctors without Borders.
